About me
My journey to Madeira
I first came to Madeira in February 2024 for a two-week workation with a friend. Little did I know, that trip would change my life. From the moment I arrived, I fell in love with the island. I still remember sitting at the airport sipping a coffee under the warm sun. I felt my body relax and felt right at home. Life here was slower, warmer, and more exciting than back home in Germany.
After that first visit, I couldn’t stay away. I returned to Madeira repeatedly. I explored its hidden corners. I fell deeper in love with its natural beauty and way of life. Eventually, I made the decision to live here full-time, and I haven’t looked back since.

What I love about Madeira
What I love most about Madeira is its incredible nature. The island has reignited my passion for hiking. Its trails lead to breathtaking views. These paths offer moments of serene silence that help me reconnect with myself. Life here is simpler, more genuine, and less stressed—a perfect fit for the nature-focused lifestyle I’ve come to embrace. It’s a place that teaches you to appreciate the little things. You learn to enjoy sitting on a peak and watching the sunset and you feel fully content with life.
Why I started this blog
As I discovered more of Madeira, I realized that visitors often miss the island’s true essence. It’s easy to stick to tourist paths (which are of course also beautiful), but the magic lies just a little further off the beaten track. That’s why I decided to write this blog and my own travel guides. I want to help others experience Madeira the way I have. This means uncovering its hidden gems and embracing its slower, more authentic pace of life.
My Mission is simple:
My mission is simple: to share the beauty of Madeira in a personal and meaningful way. All my tours and guides are crafted from my own experiences. They are tailored to showcase the spots that made me fall in love with the island. Madeira has given me so much—peace, joy, and a place to call home. My goal is to give back by sharing its wonders with you. I aim to support the local community and urge you to practice sustainable tourism to protect the environment. Let me show you yOur Madeira. I assure you, it will leave a lasting impression on your heart. It has certainly done so on mine.
